The small businesses that were to set up shop in this marketplace needed the attention only another small company could give them. They also needed a firm that spoke their “food service language”. Connolly Architects was hired to work with these 23 tenants to plan, design and help build their spaces. Well functioning layouts were created in partnership with each tenant. Interactive virtual walk-through’s helped tenants analyze various design options (and helped the landlord get signed leases). Services provided included food service and marketplace equipment planning and specifications, health department approvals, interior architecture and construction administration.
