The ownership team at Tom’s knew their well known 5-unit hamburger and ice cream chain had a great product. But its image was very dated and inefficient. They felt they owed it to their community and their employees to create a fresh, new, memorable image that all could be proud of. Connolly Architects created that new image as well as the interiors and food service planning. Planning and design standards were developed and used throughout their replacement and expansion campaign. These guidelines provided for optimum functionality at the given site and a consistent, recognizable image. Business has tripled and many of the buildings have won local and state design awards.
